Boss Arena/Mode
Yes i used the search button x/ dont complain...
so my proposal is that there would be a mode or an arena for fighting unlocked bosses but;
1. A Character/Acount must have unlocked (killed the boss in PvE or used alot of faction to unlock) in order to fight a boss...
2. Bosses can be fought solo or in teams of 2-8
3. Killing the bosses would yield no reward (this would make it farm proof) but would be useful for training to kill a specific boss without having to run through an area or fought through mobs... or just for fun.
4. The boss would be accompanied by his usual group (mening that eg. Rotscale would stil include all thos nasty little mobs that use incideary arrows x/)
5. Players can choose to fight the boss in NM or HM.
6. Boss mode/arena can be accessible from an outpost of its own...
All constructive comments are welcome but please no trolling flaming or unconstructivve critisism. if you say its a bad idea say why...

This sounds like a pretty fun idea. I'd have it so you couldn't capture any skills or get any drops, but maybe you could have a faction reward similar to Zaishen Challenge, with the same 2k cap?
Maybe, instead of choosing the boss, you get a random boss spawn. If you win, two bosses could spawn in it's place, and so on.
It probably would be fun to have the arena use the PvP skillset as well. (no Ursan/Pain inverter chains.)

but having 2 bosses could go so that you get 2 monks = PWNED OF BORED and having random boss would take away the purpouse of training... but maybe have like normal and elite boss arena like zaishen arenas... normal you choose and its only 1 match with 2k cap and elite is random and with more bosses spawning of DIFFERENT PROFESSION with 6k cap...

now, did you read the whole post and did you read all of each´sentence or did you just look, no reward, no this no that not looking at stuff that came after it? i included that it could be for training to kill or training to farm or just for fun, and also below posted i agreed to the idea that it could have faction rewards with being an elite arena too... did you read the reply and reply to reply? didnt think so... x/

1. Training to farm should not be a substantial reason for making a new feature.
2. Faction rewards for fighting PvE monsters is FAIL. This is not AB or CM.

1.Training to farm was not the reason for this it was one of the good things that would come along with it.
2.Faction rewards for fighting PvE monsters is FAIL. This is not AB <--- i cannot see how you fight PvE monsters in AB :/
3.Your post is fail for not saying why getting faction for fighting PvE monsters is a fail... i said that constructive critisism is good but saing something is fail period. is not constructive... :/

so you are saying that we need a place to fight bosses that we have already killed and thus unlocked, so we can practice for going to kill the bosses we have already killed

Yeah, I don't like the idea of unlocking bosses to use them as training to beat them again. I don't like the idea of earning faction through beating them, either. We have way too many roads to earning faction, we don't exactly need another game type to spread players out even more than they already are.
I do like the basic idea of having a place to fight bosses, though. But what are the benefits to this? Once the fun factor wears thin it'll be a wasted effort on the part of ANet. It's a neat idea, but falls short, unfortunately.

Maybe if it was an area where you had to fight 10-15 epic "boss style" fights in a row, or maybe with several bosses at the same time, with a chest at the end and normal drops, then it would be cool.
Imagine fighting Urgoz and Rotscale at the same time
And stop qqing about Ursan and pve skills. It's pve so there's no reason (other than your elitism) to restrict them.

Let's see. To make it a "For Training Only" boss, you'd have to restrict it so you can't take anyone who hasn't killed the boss before. Then you'd have to get no experience for doing it. And you'd have to make it impossible to get a skill cap off the boss once you killed them.
Otherwise, great idea.

I will /sign for a Boss Mode like there was back in D2...good days.
Here's my suggestion for this idea.
1. To unlock, you must get both Protector and Guardian of any one campaign, for that campaign, you unlock Boss Mode.
2. You can access Boss Mode the same way as Hard Mode *button in party formation window*.
3. Quests are not doable in BM.
4. Bosses do not drop greens *but do drop other loots*, and you cannot capture elite skills from them.
5. All bosses are the level of their Hard Mode versions.
6. Regular bosses still spawn, their mobs do not, and "main bosses" (i.e. Storyline Bosses *Habilon, Markis, Lich, Undead Rurik for Prophecies*) and they only spawn in their respective campaigns.
